This short and sweet newsletter is coming to you earlier than scheduled so I could share holiday tidings happening this weekend. If you still need to give Santa your list, you are in luck. He will be at the Wheeler holiday celebration on Saturday and will also be making an appearance at Four Paws in Manzanita over the weekend. May everyone enjoy a happy Christmas, Hanukkah and rest of 2024. Sending peace and joy for the new year.
Downtown Wheeler Holiday Celebration
All of Wheeler will be aglow this Saturday, Dec. 21. Festivities begin at 1 pm and end with a light parade at 7 pm. Go early and pick up some last minute goodies at Nehalem Smokehouse before they go on winter break. Jolly old St. Nick arrives in downtown Wheeler at 4 pm so grab your list and check it twice. Enjoy family crafts from 4-6 pm and hot food from 5-7 pm. The Old Wheeler Hotel is hosting a last-minute shopping pop-up. Heart of CARTM and Pelican & Piper will be open, both offering discounts.

Ornament Decorating
Stop by the warm and cozy Cloud & Leaf Bookstore for ornament decorating on Saturday, Dec. 21 from 5-8 pm. Enjoy a glass of wine or cup of cocoa, peruse the bookshelves, and try your hand at decorating an ornament. Art supplies will be available in the corner by the woodstove. Rumor is there may be a reading of The Night Before Christmas or a round of O Tannenbaum. Sounds like a “Holly” jolly time.
